Accountant (m/f) EN/NL
As an Accountant (A-Z) in the team, you undertake full responsibility to help us support the accounting team (5 people) by managing day to day general accounting (including month-end & year-end closings) and various administrative tasks within our company. You will report directly to the companies’ Group Accounting Manager and will be based in Anderlecht, Belgium. You will be part of a dynamic accounting team where you will get an overview of the entire accounting processes. In this role you will get the space to grow on a professional and personal level.
What do you do on a daily basis?
-AP process: Booking - Approval – Payment
-AR invoices – customers follow up
-Bank statements + Payment list + Isabel payments
-Cash reporting (Isabel,...)
-VAT+ IC. + Intrastat
Additional administrative tasks related to accounting
Monthly and Annual Closing
-Accruals + prepaid bookings
-Local Reporting month-end figures
-Balance sheet reconciliations
-Follow up analytical bookings
The successful candidate has a bachelor degree in accounting or equivalent and has at least 5 to 7 years of relevant experience in a similar function. You have knowledge about accounting principles and are eager to learn more. SAP knowledge is an asset. The same with a background in taxation and VAT.

-You speak and write fluently Dutch and English.
