HR Manager


Job description


As Manager of Human Resources in Belgium and Luxembourg, you will be responsible for the entire HR function across the two countries and across all paths located in these two countries. You will work closely with our Finance Manager and People Director and will report to our Regional Head of HR and People Director.


After a period of handover from our Finance Manager and our People Director, you will be fully responsible for developing HR strategies for a 400+ population across 2 countries (Belgium and Luxembourg), for all paths, including the ongoing adjustment and risk management frameworks to support decision making, and advise support functional/location leadership on HR-related topics. You will also develop a compensation approach and structures in line with local market conditions and the overall Firm framework, and coordinate the annual compensation processes for all skill categories. You will oversee implementation of benefit programs, closely working with staff, Firm Benefits and insurance companies.

In addition, you will manage core people practices as needed, e.g. offers, on/offboarding, mobility, exits, and oversee the efficient and effective functioning of the teams.
As HR Manager, your role will be to ensure overall compliance with local and Firm regulations including HR, statutory, internal policies (liaising with Firm legal, as necessary), and to serve as a point of contact for senior colleagues and cell leaders regarding Firm and Office-specific HR policies. You will also be a point of contact for Firm members with personnel-related complaints and, potentially, act as a certified practitioner dealing with these to the highest professional standards.

Your profile


  • University degree, preferably in HR

  • >8 years of HR experience, with at least 5 years of managerial experience

  • Experience in building and implementing learning and development programs

  • Training or/and coaching experience (certificate would be an additional asset)

  • Knowledge of Belgium (and Luxembourg) labour law and other related regulations

  • Excellent command of Dutch, French and English (written and spoken)

  • Knowledge of people systems

  • Ideally, experience with compensation and benefits
